Todays Topic #4 1/31/11

Tommorow we will temporaly stop Todays Topic and replace it with Todays Poem.  Todays Poem will last till Feb. 14.  You may be wondering what Todays Poem is,  It is a new thing we are doing to promote others love poetry.  Every day we will have a diffrent poem.

Think Geek.com = Think Great.com

Today I picked up a copy of Think  Geek Magizine and I was amazed at how cool and useful  some of their products are.  They have lots of gadgets.  The best part is that it is high quality and fairly cheap.  After seeing their magizine I went to their website and was on it four hours!!  if you like gadgets go to www.thinkgeek.com you will love it.

Todays Topic #2 January 24, 2011

1 Screen 2 Screens Or 3 Screens how many screens do you need for your computer?

Most people think that tey dont need mutipule screens for thier computer.  They think it is a waist of time money and is to hard.  I do not think that though.  It can be very easy if you know how and have the right tools.  I think it will turn out to be a time saver in the long run and it is not very hard either (it can be expensive though).  When I tried mutipule moniters, I loved it.  I could read my email and check my blog without switching tabs (Swwitching tabs often causes your computer to freeze).  It is very easy to put 2 screens on your computer all you need is a Dvi  and VGa Cable 2 screens that are compatible with VGA and DVI and your Computer Make Sure it is compatible with VGA and DVI.

How to put dual moniters on your computer.

Note: this guide is Not for Macs.

1. Take The two screens and plug them into the wall.
2. Take the VGA screen and plug th VGA Cable into the back of it Plug the other end of the VGA cable into the  computer.  Do the same with the DVI screen and cable
3. Restart your computer
4. once your computer restarts  go to the start menu and open the Control Panel.  Once you have opened the control pannel go to the tab that says Display.  when the siplay tab opens at the top of the window there is 5 tab click the one that says settings.
5. In the middle of the window there will be a big box with 2 boxes in it.  one of the boxes will have a 1 in it and the other has a 2.  click the on that has a 2 in the middle.  the put a check mark in the box that says  Extend my desktop onto this moniter.
6. TADA you are  done

Iphone (four) Ipod (Touch) or Ipad,  Which to Choose, Which to Buy??

If you were to choose the Iphone Ipad or Ipod which would you choose? which would you buy?  The Iphone has many benifits such as it can make calls, texting, Two Cameras (one on front one on back( I here that tey also have Flash cameras now) 3G, and WiFi.  The Ipod can also make calls ( If you download Pinger inc 's Text free with voice (the app is free(calls youmust earn munites for by buying them or downloading certian apps(texts are free) The Ipod also has two cameras (but they are not flash cameras) and it can also get WiFi.  The Ipad has One camera andhas 3G and Wi Fi it is the biggest out of the three.  I consider the ipad  as a Big ipod. 

                  If I were choosing between the three I Would choose the Ipod.  Which would you choose???
